For mortgage professionals
Build your practice alongside two brokers who will tell you the truth.
Fusion Mortgage Group is a team of licensed mortgage brokers with BRX Mortgage Inc. This page is not for clients. It is for licensed agents and brokers, and for people seriously considering getting licensed, who want to know what working alongside us actually looks like.
We are not going to tell you this business is easy, or that joining a team replaces prospecting. We will tell you what we have built, what we will share, and what you still have to do yourself.

Who this is for
We are looking for people who can already sit at the table and want to build something bigger than a personal book. Two situations in particular. If you are not one of them, we will say so early rather than waste your afternoon.
You are at a bank, doing the maths
You write mortgages off one lender’s shelf and you have started working out what the same volume would pay you on this side. Good. Do it properly. The honest version of that calculation has lines in it most recruiters leave out, and we will walk through all of them with you, including the ones that cost you.
You are already a broker, with no cap
Every file you fund pays your brokerage a percentage, all year, with no ceiling on it. A capped split changes the shape of a strong year rather than the shape of an average one. Bring your last twelve months and we will run it both ways in front of you.
Producing, and drowning in the admin
You are closing files and losing evenings to document chasing and lender back-and-forth. The volume is fine. The operations are not, and that is a solvable problem rather than a personality trait.
Newly licensed
We do work with new agents and we are glad to. Be clear-eyed about it: we are a small team of producing brokers, not a training department, and what you get here is proximity to two people running real files rather than a curriculum.
What we actually do together
This is the part most recruiting pages leave vague. Here is the operating rhythm, in plain terms.
- ✓Weekly file strategy. Real cases, real lender selection, real reasons. Not a webinar. If your file is stuck, this is where it gets unstuck.
- ✓Lender strategy on hard files. Self-employed, separation, bruised credit, newcomers. Between us we have seen most versions of these, and we will tell you when a file truly does not work.
- ✓The tech stack, already built. The automations, templates, calculators and client-facing tools we use every day. You do not rebuild them from scratch.
- ✓Compliant marketing review. Before you publish something that creates an advertising problem, someone who cares looks at it.
- ✓Database discipline. How to actually keep in touch with past clients so renewals do not walk out the door.
- ✓Accountability that is not performative. We will ask what you said you would do, and we expect the same asked of us.
What we do not promise
Saying this out loud is the fastest way to find the right people and lose the wrong ones.
- ×No guaranteed leads. We do not hand out a pipeline. If someone promises you one, ask what happens to it when they need it themselves.
- ×No income projections. We will not show you a screenshot and imply it is your future. What you earn depends on what you build.
- ×No shortcut past the skill. Licensing is the beginning. Underwriting judgement takes years and there is no version of this where you skip that.
- ×No pressure. If the fit is not there, we would honestly rather tell you than sign you.
Who you would be working with

Kelly Foote
Mortgage Broker · FSRA #M21002713
The systems side. Automations, client experience, marketing and the tooling that keeps a growing book from becoming chaos. Certified Divorce Specialist, and Niagara born and built.

Lisa Reynolds
Mortgage Broker · FSRA #M15000477
The lender side. More than thirty years in the industry, over eighteen of them in mortgages, and the structuring judgement that comes from having seen several markets rather than reading about them.
What BRX gives you
BRX is the brokerage. These are their terms, not ours, and they apply to every agent equally.
- ✓85/15 split, capped at $15,000 a year. Once you hit the cap you keep 100% of your commission for the rest of your anniversary year. Lender volume bonuses and points pass straight through to you.
- ✓The same contract as everyone else. No hidden fees, no royalty fees, no back-room deals for the people who negotiated hardest.
- ✓Live underwriting support, 55 hours a week. On-demand Zoom rooms where coaches help you place a deal or fix a ratio while you are still on the file.
- ✓A business in a box for $150 a month. Lender Spotlight, nine weekly social posts, two monthly blog posts, custom landing pages, and the monthly Win Your Mortgage Payment giveaway.
What our team adds
BRX is the framework. This is the part that decides whether you actually close deals in your first year.
- ✓Free office space in Niagara. A professional space to work, meet clients and sit with us. No charge, no strings.
- ✓Daily team masterminds. Live underwriting scenarios, marketing that is actually working right now, and the SEO and AI automation side, so you can generate your own leads rather than wait for someone to hand you one.
- ✓Direct mentorship from both of us. Not a monthly check-in. We are in the files with you.
How we get paid, in plain terms
You should be asking why two brokers would give away office space and daily coaching without taking a team split. Here is the whole answer.
BRX does not employ corporate recruiters. Instead it runs a revenue share program that rewards agents who help grow the brokerage. If you decide we are the right fit and name Lisa as your sponsor when you onboard, you join our revenue share group.
When you fund a mortgage, BRX pays our team a small percentage, up to 4%, of the brokerage’s 15% share.
- ✓It does not come out of your pocket. It comes from the brokerage’s side, not yours. Your split is your split whether you join our group or someone else’s.
- ✓It stops when you cap. Once you are keeping 100%, BRX is no longer taking 15%, so there is nothing for us to share in until your next anniversary year.
- ✓It only pays when you do. We earn nothing unless you are funding deals. That is the whole reason we put our own time, space and systems into making you good at this.
If that arrangement bothers you, say so and we will talk about it directly. We would rather explain it up front than have you find out later and wonder what else was not mentioned.
How it works
- A private conversation with both of us. No deck. We ask what you want to build and tell you honestly whether we help.
- You look at BRX directly, through their own material and their own people, so you are not taking our word for the brokerage.
- Your own due diligence. Talk to people who have joined. Ask the awkward questions.
- If it fits, BRX handles licensing and onboarding formally.
- Then the part that matters: we actually work files together.
The questions people actually ask
Do I keep my own brand?
Yes. Several good agents want their own name on their business, and that is compatible with working alongside us. We would rather you build something that is yours.
Does naming Lisa as sponsor cost me anything?
No. Revenue share is paid from the brokerage’s 15%, not from your 85%. Your compensation is identical whichever group you join, or if you join none. The only thing it changes is who at BRX gets credited for supporting you.
What happens after I cap?
You keep 100% of your commission for the rest of your anniversary year, and our revenue share on your files stops until it resets. The support does not stop.
What does it cost me?
Fees and contract terms are set by BRX, not by us, and they should tell you directly. Anyone who is vague about this is a reason to slow down.
How long does transferring take?
It depends on FSRA processing and your current brokerage’s terms. Plan for it to take longer than you want, and do not resign anywhere before you have confirmed timing.
Do I have to be in Niagara or Halton?
No. We are licensed across Ontario and most of how we work together is not geographic. If you are somewhere else in the province, that is fine.
What if I am not licensed yet?
Then the conversation is different and mostly about whether this career actually suits you. We will be straight with you about that, including when the answer is no.

Have the conversation
